Known from several specimens, this small omnivorous bipedal critter was a basal saurischian (lizard-hipped) dinosaur. Recent phylogenetic analysis found it to be a sauropodomorph rather than a theropod. In any case, this animal is close to the ancestry of all saurischian dinosaurs.
