Specimens of this late Ordovician trilobite found at the Beecher's Trilobite Bed, near New York, show exquisite pyritized preservation of soft body parts, allowing for a detailed anatomical description of this animal. It is the last trilobite of the family Olenidae that flourished during the Cambrian.
