The Diadectomorphs form a group of Late Carboniferous and Permian reptile-like amphibians.They were mostly herbivorous animals and could reach large sizes. Limnoscelis with its pointed teeth were carnivorous probably feeding on fish. The species L. paludis is known from complete skeletons.
